Concordia, where several glaciers and 8,000-meter giants meet, delivers unmatched mountain views. Arrive in Islamabad. Our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Briefing and gear check for the trek.
Take a scenic flight to Skardu (subject to weather). Enjoy free time to explore the city or relax with mountain views.
Drive by jeep to Askole, the last village before the trek. The journey follows the Braldu River with dramatic mountain scenery.
The trek begins with a gentle walk along the Braldu River. Camp near Jula with views of the surrounding peaks and open valleys.
Continue up the valley toward the Baltoro Glacier. Paiju offers spectacular views of Paiju Peak and serves as a major campsite.
Take a day to rest and acclimatize at Paiju. You can hike around or relax before stepping onto the glacier tomorrow.
Trek across the Baltoro Glacier to Khuburtse. The route includes rocky moraines and offers views of Trango Towers and Uli Biaho.
Trek further along the glacier to reach Urdukas, a grassy campsite with sweeping views of the granite towers and glacier below.
Cross rough glacier terrain toward Goro II. Enjoy breathtaking views of Masherbrum and surrounding peaks. Camp on the glacier tonight.
A highlight of the trek — reach Concordia, where K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II, and many other giants surround you. A photographer’s paradise.
Take a rest or choose an optional hike to K2 Base Camp and Gilkey Memorial (5,150m). Return to Concordia for the night.
Begin the approach to Gondogoro La. Cross crevassed terrain to reach Ali Camp, located at the foot of the pass. Prepare for the crossing.
A challenging but rewarding day — cross Gondogoro La with technical gear support. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the Karakoram giants. Descend to Khuspang for overnight.
Descend along the lush Hushe Valley. The landscape changes from ice to greenery. Camp at Saicho near the confluence of streams.
Walk the final stretch to Hushe village. After a short break, drive back to Skardu and enjoy a warm shower and comfortable rest.
Enjoy a well-deserved rest day in Skardu. Optional sightseeing includes a visit to Shigar Fort, Satpara Lake, or exploring local bazaars for souvenirs and cultural experiences.
This day is reserved as a buffer in case of weather issues or any unforeseen delays during the trek. If unused, it can be spent exploring Skardu more leisurely.
If weather allows, take a scenic flight back to Islamabad. In case of cancellation, begin the overland journey via Karakoram Highway with overnight stay at Chilas.
Continue the journey from Chilas to Islamabad, passing through scenic valleys and mountain landscapes. Arrival in Islamabad by evening and transfer to hotel.
Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your onward flight. End of Gondogoro-La and K2 Base Camp Trek with unforgettable memories.
